This is what some of our customers have to say…
"The staircase of our house was in a dreadful state, covered in paint and old Victorian black varnish.
Julie spent weeks stripping those ancient coats and revealing the beauty of our Parana pine staircase to it's original Arts and Crafts glory. Endless coats of French polish made it silky smooth to the touch. A delight for us and a beautiful talking point.
Thanks, Julie, a great job done and a delight to have you in our home."

"Over the past 17 years Julie Moss has carried out extensive restoration work upon many items of furniture for me. Her work is of a consistently high standard and her knowledge and understanding of her craft are extensive.
Julie has assisted me in purchasing pieces of furniture which at first sight to the untrained eye appear valueless and thus they were acquired at extremely modest prices. Once Julie has restored them they have become beautiful and valuable items of furniture, which I am proud to display in my home."

Julie has done a lot of work for me over the last 15 years, constantly updating the look of my home with advice and practical help. Julie has handpainted my kitchen and most of my bedroom furniture, both freestanding and fitted. Quite frankly she's brilliant and I wouldn't trust my home to anyone else. She's innovative and hugely talented, not to mention extremely personable

"I have known Julie Moss for the past 20 years in a professional capacity. As the previous owner of an antique shop, I required restoration work to be carried out on pieces of furniture, it varied from repairs to loose joints, re-veneering damaged areas, traditionally upholstering individual chairs, French polishing too many items to mention. At all times she has provided a professional and courteous service and the standard of her work is consistently excellent."

I wanted to sat thank you for the really wonderful work you have done to our furniture. The sideboard looks really fabulous - it has a new swagger and we love it ! The two side tables look perfect and are ready to hold our wine etc with coasters at the ready. The little hall table looks fresh and happy.
The round table colour and shine is now amazing and the mirror is now ready to look amazing in the main bathroom.
You have made them all look great but also repaired and restored them so they are all functional and ready to do good work for the next 20 years.
Over the moon ... I am really very very happy to see this special furniture looking the best it can be, glorious !
